Who are we?

We are the Stir:
A group of young adults (teens and twenties) dedicated to the raising up of fellow young adults in Christ Jesus.

Our name comes from Hebrews 10:24-25 ~ 24 "And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works," 25 "not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near."

We have a united vision for our young adults. We see a need for interaction between young adults and adults and a need for fellowship among young adults. We want to provide a safe and productive environment for this to happen.

Our primary goal is split in three ways, and that is to include:

* Biblical Topical Discussion

-To provide a setting for young adults to share honestly what is on their minds and hearts in regard to life with one another in small group settings facilitated by adults. (Parents, especially fathers, are encouraged to attend all meetings and activities)

* Service

-In a separate time of the month using youthful energy and desire to serve the Body and community, the group would serve in many creative ways.

* Fun

-To provide an enjoyable and God glorifying setting.

If you are not attending The Stir, but wish to, contact Tom Mendonca at mendoncafamily@verizon.net for additional information and directions to the meeting’s location. Don’t forget to bring your friends and their families!
