Our most recent service project was a complete success. A team of hard working Stir members went to the aid of the Griffiths who desperately needed several walls of the inside of their house painted. The walls are painted, and look darn good too. Here are a few pictures from the project.

Our next meetings will be on the Mondays of January 8th & January 22nd at the Davenport's house. Our next topic is:

Waiting on God or stepping out in faith

We don't have any designated snack bringers. If you feel led to bring some edible then by all means go right ahead. As Michael so intellectually put: "If people bring snacks, then we have snacks. If people bring no snacks, then we have no snacks," I don't know where he pulled that from. But I digress...

Don't forget to invite your friends and their families to out next meeting.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
Sincerly,

Two updates in one week, what is the world coming to? But I digress. I now have the topic of our next meeting, it is:

Rejection / How does it affect me?
Tom has also asked that we bring real life examples of rejection to the meeting for discussion and example. The next meeting will also be located at the Dixon's house rather then at the Davenport's. So don't show up at the Davenports or you'll find no meeting to attend.

Thank you for your time.
Goodbye and goodnight,
Geoffrey A. Davenport

I apologize for the late notice. The next meeting will be Monday the 18th of November. We do not, at this time, know the topic for next week, so we have the pleasure of eagerly awaiting whatever topic it may be, or fretting about it perhaps. In addition we are having a night of Christmas Caroling on Sunday the 10th of November, which is, coincidentally, tomorrow. Yes, it's a late notice to those of you who were unaware of this, and I do apologize for taking so very long to update the blog. Those attending the Caroling will meet at our house at 6:30 and then we will go Caroling once everyone has arrived. Please come, it's sure to be a fun night.

Don't forget to invite your friends and their families to our next Stir meeting.

Ta ta!
